Rocks of course are various shapes so to keep consistency, we select rocks that are about 4″ diameter and a suitable face for engraving.

This is a simple pet memorial stone to memorialize your pet so in the 4″ version I only engrave your pets name and paw prints for a dog, cat or any type of pet. On the larger sizes there is room to add a heading and dates.
Size info:
4″ is very popular, but due to the smaller size it cannot include a heading. Name and paws only.
6″-8″ and sizes larger can include a heading. Obviously the larger sizes can fit more words.
6″-8″ does not mean 6″x8″, it means I will select a stone that is at least 6″ to 8″ in width but I try to stay closer to the larger number if not a little over. Same applies for the 8″-10″ and the 10″-12″ sizes.

Rodney decided to open an online store to see if others might find comfort in his product. From there, interest grew. In order to make their memorials something everyone could own, they diversified the products in terms of size and types of materials used. Purchasing better tools and equipment, Melton Memorials was born out of a need to help people find peace. The business is now fully owned and operated by the Melton family.
